COMMUNITY OF WILTON, CONNECTICUT
According to the 2000 census, there are approximately 6,000 households in the Wilton community. The public school system is one that continually strives for perfection, in the arts, sports, and academically, consistently receiving awards for excellence. Wilton schools consist of two pre-K – grade 2 elementary schools (Ina Driscoll and Miller Schools,) one school for grades 3-5 (Cider Mill School,) one school for grades 6-8 (Middlebrook School )and one high school (Wilton High School.)

Wilton is a rural/ suburban residential community of approximately 18,000 people, located approximately one hour by car or train from central New York City. Historical sites are represented throughout the town and the small downtown area has a village atmosphere. You will find a four screen cinema multiplex, restaurants, coffee shops, a library, the famous Village Market, its own Play Shop, and a great variety of shops and churches.

Wilton has community parks for swimming: Merwin Meadows has a swimming pond, playground and picnic area, and Kiwanis Park, run by the YMCA, has a beachy pond and wading pool. Other parks offer scenic trails and fishing. There are public tennis courts galore, private tennis clubs, and a private golf club.

Wilton has great community recreational park areas all over town!
Bradley Park (near us and lots of trails!)
86 acres of trails, boardwalk and wetlands on Oak Ledge Lane or Graenest Ridge
Cherry Lane Park
off both Cherry Lane and Banks Drive, 50 acres, trails, a pond and picnicking.
Merwin Meadows
The only town-owned community swimming spot. It is a spring-fed fresh water beach pond located on the charmingly named Lovers Lane. Even has a diving board, large playground, picnic area, and lifeguards! The stream running into it is great for catching polliwogs!
Quarry Head
32 acres, trails, old quarry and overlook.
Horseshoe Park
6 acres of trails, a pond on Horseshoe Road near town. Sad, the town wants to let it fill in….
Schenck’s Island
13 acres of trails, picnicking and a river located on River Road. Nice to walk your dog…
Wilton Town Forest
Boas Lane and Branch Brook Road, 188 acres of walking, bridle trails and camping.
Wild Duck Reserve
16 acres, trails and nature study.
Woodcock Nature Center
146 acres through Wilton and Ridgefield, exhibits, nature store, educational and recreational programs. Run great fun programs for the kids and the community!

What My Clients Say About Me...

"As a family moving from out of state, we found Dagny to be a tremendous resource not only in terms of real estate, but also regarding everything we needed to know about Wilton and the surrounding area. In fact, over a year later, she is still the first person we turn to with questions about the area. Also, given that we were lugging around a two year old and a newborn while looking at houses, it was important for us to find someone who was kid-friendly and patient and understanding of our situation. We couldn't have found a better match with Dagny. "

More About Me

As an active member of the Wilton community for 35 years, I've been involved in the early education and development of many of Wilton’s youngest children through "Dagny’s Kiddie-Care."

Service is what I'm all about: my knowledge, enthusiasm and service orientation work together with my company’s technology and marketing tools to help meet my clients' needs.

Community and real estate are important to me. Landscape planning and design have long been passions that blend well with my real estate passion.

And speaking of passion, I've volunteered with the CT Association for the Blind, the Minks to Sinks semi-annual fundraising event for Family and Children’s Aid, Breast Cancer Fundraiser for Survivors, and have been an active member of the Wilton Riding Club, the Silvermine Golf Club, the Wilton Schools PTAs, and the Wilton High School athletic booster clubs.

My husband, Kirk, and I have raised our three children in Wilton. Let me help you join our wonderful community. You can reach me via cell at (203) 858-4853.
